I worked as a power plant technician in Grupo Electrotécnica (Costa Rica), doing maintenance and installation of power plants. During this time, I wanted to determine if we could use termography to predict potential problems in power plants. It resulted that it was not quite easy to predict power plant problems using thermography. The reason is that the spatial temperatures depicted in the thermography are not accurate enough to make good predictions.
